Nope, CotD won't get any of this money unfortunately. As a company we are involved in projects that do, but it's just a commercial project for us. Only projects in the "serious gaming" category were allowed, so that pretty much ruled us out. I think that was a very poor decision however, but nothing we could change about it.

Edit; but do note that we did receive financial support from the european union to make CotD possible. So it's not like we're left in the dark at all :-)

Even the crappiest of institutions can do great things. Didn't Scientology send food to the Haitians and didn't the Yakuza help out the Japanese after the Fukushima disaster?
I believe the EU also once funded a Viking Village in Germany or Denmark. That, along with funding CotD, has to be one of their best decisions so far! xD

as i said in a other forum topic: i would be glad to help you guys promote the game you could sticker the backside of my trailer with a huge poster/sticker of the game ending on the bottum with the wbside.

i drive around fryslân 6 days a week litterly from Westhoek, warkum to far in Groningen.

We actually don't have any CotD bumper stickers just yet, but I like the idea. What would you put on there since the URL is actually quite large ...

Noo no no bumber sticker ... think huge 1.32 x 1.38 meters of space, its a closed trailer with my company logo and the sides but the rear is still blank and we could fill that in with the logo of the game and a in development sign underneath it.
and the website of COTD ofcourse (you catch my drift) FREE COMMERCIAL..and again it wouldn't be any trouble im a huge Fryslân promoter i would be honered!!

And it doesn't sound like a bad idea! Good promotion... No idea what such a thing would cost though, but there are plenty specialized companies who can fabricate one...

i think it would cost about 80 euro's (Dont pin me on the price) and my brother could make it and sticker it if you'ld like he works at DSL reclame in Dokkum.
Just shoot any idea's about the layout and some pics (EPS would be best) and i could mail you the results

That's pretty cool! I guess a single colored image would be best for you, and cheapest to produce. Perhaps we can come up with a silhouette of Pier ...
