Just add a captcha or something else to the signup thing. I added a "textual confirmation" thing to my PHPBB forum, works great.

If you loved us still and checked in, they would be removed by you. Instead we are wondering around like headless chooks still trying to eat.

It is odd that we both came the same day to a forum, I personally hardly visit anymore (well I do come by now and again, I usually am greeted with no update so in this day and age I don't have much time for disappointment :P) and then post within a reasonable time frame. However my theory on how USSSGreatePier posts so fast is either he's a bot, contently designed to hype the game or has the forum subscribed to in some creepy way.

Remco pays me

And I have the link to this site on my custom startpage, and I check all the pages on there multiple times a day, so I keep on top of things :)

At least no new spam bots have regged since I've closed the registration.

(that's not as obvious as it sounds with PHPBB)

Yes, I clicked :-)

Actually, I was discussing the forum with Timen and Robert last week. We're getting a lot more people drawn to the game through the Steam forums, so we're thinking about moving the community in that direction. It'll be easier for Robert to keep track since he's already on Steam 24/7, and the discussion will be directed more towards the game.
