Oh, btw, when I want to reply to the message on the home page, I'm required to login with Wordpress apparently. What's up with that? :) Can't seem to login there...

No Wordpress for me, so no comments then, haha... Oh, btw, has forum registry been activated again? Since there are new updates flowing in that might be an idea.

I know I'm known for my pedantic behavior, butt I gues I wont meention that out of 10 wurds on teh image of the "Its Alife!" frotpage news 2 are mispellt :lol:

Yeah, we're not happy with how Wordpress and PHPBB are working.

We've thought about getting rid of wordpress replies and replacing them with a social plugin, as it seems that the front page is now likely to have discussions similar to those on the forums.

So we might end up fixing PHPBB (and opening registration again) and using a social plugin for the front page.

Likely that Timen is going to be the one who makes the changes. We'll keep the board closed for a couple more days.

Lots of things going on at the moment, I expect to be able to share some more stuff during following week.

Huge improvement! The old one looks like a flat pancake next to the new texture :p

Impressive list of improvements... Sweet :D

Diablo-style mouse controls for PC players who do not have a controller.


Not familiar with Diablo controls tbh... Is the character movement done with the mouse or (also?) with WASD or cursor?

Controls are mouse-only. Keyboard controls really got in the way during combat, so we got rid of them enitrely.

You should try the Diablo demo to see what I mean. There will be keyboard shortcuts of course for switching weapons and pulling up the menus, but movement and attacking is limited to mouse controls.

And controllers of course, those will work just fine :-)

Well underway in our next sprint. It's due Friday, so there is still plenty to do. All major mechanics will be finished by this week, meaning that all that is left (...) is tweaking the missions until they are perfect.

We're doing some pitches again in the next couple of weeks, so we'll start working on a new trailer. I still think we should not show gameplay until there is a complete trailer ready for the entire world to enjoy, but there are so many new animations that I also want to show some tidbits in the meantime.

There will be a new post tomorrow, have not yet decided what to post about. Perhaps some more details about the changes in the maps?

Indeed, indeed... It really sets the mood. Also digging the new logo, it seems better than the old one on this site. And who can dislike the title screen with such succulent meat roasting over the fire...

Just a quick update for you guys. We've finished all major functionality but are now completely focussing on the missions. We're working on getting a trailer ready, but we want to make sure it shows all aspects of the game.

So probably no update this week, but hopefully we'll show some new stuff soon.
